Even though Harley is a good player, it would not have made an immediate difference to the young North Melbourne Team. Truth is that several existing senior players like Yeo, Barass, McGovern, Kelly and Darling who were plagued by injuries for the last 2 years are fit and are playing well.
North Melbourne have become professionals at buggering absolutely everything up.
Kane is upset he’s not even half the player Harley Reid is and the bloody kid has played not even half a season!
For those of you that dont know Kane got 2 kicks in his 6th game in his first year and didnt play a game the rest of the year and got 1 kick on his return game in his second year. He was no good and then they found a spot for him as a tagger. And now he is an expert on training standards for 1st year player. I wish someone would have the balls on the panel to call him out on his stats.

LOL. As if Reid would be having the same impact on North as he has in West Coast. The Eagles have premiership players like Yeo who've been energised and given a new lease on life by this young kid. Who was he going to energise at North? As for Davies-Uniacke: it will be a disaster for him if he stays. Go to a club worthy of your talents. Play finals. Make your name. Leave North to wallow in their self inflicted misery.
Do young players need 2,3 or 4 seasons under their belt before they can run out a full game or not? I believe the answer is yes, undoubtedly. Cornes opinion on Reid is nothing more than “tall poppy syndrome”.
I love how they all act as if by north not tanking for Reid they got nothing in that draft which is a complete oversight. McKercher will be a gun and while he may not have the star factor Reid has he will be an elite player in the future.
West Coast have a good team culture, they have a good record of retaining Victorian players, plus they have senior players like Yeo, McGovern, Waterman etc who are playing well, who can offer guidance. Harley has said he has looked up to Tim Kelly and Jamaine Jones since their Geelong days – who is he going to look up to at north? Plus WC can pay him more, they're the richest club in the competition. He's better off where he is.
Now Harley has to find himself a decent mature hairstyle to go with his increasing presence on the field.
