Corruption but also at the individual level Mexico suffers from lack of discipline with its players which is comparable to that of Brazil but because Mexico has less of a talent pool it's much more noticeable
If I’m correct Ochoa isn’t even on the roster for his team anymore and he’s figuring out his situation , Chucky lozano has been disappointing, Raul Jimenez rarely even touches the field
in the past mexico has added players to the team that are the more famous ones, not the better ones

The Mexican National team requires the players to be active on a club roster if I’m not mistaken so that explains the natural decision to move on from Ochoa, Raul Jimenez has been lackluster for El Tri for a while now and was a big reason Santiago Giménez was left out of the World Cup squad. Chucky’s only true triumph with the national team was the goal against Germany, seeing him recently he really does not fit into the scheme that Lozano is trying to build up and it’s time for younger players to step up and take the reigns. Not too sure about Gallardo’s departure though.

Mexico is barely starting their generational change with this tournament. I think Chuckys absence is due to him on the search for a new club and not regular playing time. They’re opting for younger players in the attack like Marcelo Flores at LW, Jordi Carrillo at CAM , Brian Garcia at LB, and bringing back old faces like Diego Lainez, Alexis Vega, and Arteaga I’m all for it and excited to see what the team produces at copa America
Idk but ever since Lozano started coaching and started putting all the talent the fans want. The Mexican national team have suffered so I guess let's keep putting all these young random talents.
